Marilee Anderson dreams about a murder and wakes to find it really happened. She and David Nichols, the victim’s brother, become the prime suspects. Though they have their secrets and aren’t sure they can trust each other, Marilee and David team up to find the killer. Does Tess, “the crazy lady,” know anything about the murder or is she just delusional? Does the cheating couple on the victim’s floor have any information about the night of the crime? Why has the abusive father of the victim and her brother suddenly reappeared? What about Barbara’s ex-husband? Will Marilee and David find the killer? Or will they end up in jail—or dead?

Reviews
“One of the things that kept me coming back was the tension that Lillie created from the very first sentence. That tension never let up throughout the whole story. ” ~ 4.5 out of 5. Totally recommend it! ~ Dominique Small, 4 Walls and a View
“Dream or Destiny is written in such a realistic way you question if it is fact or fiction. It is definitely a page turner, one that kept me glued to my seat until I finished.” ~ Suzie Housley, Midwest Book Review
“The combination of a good, old fashioned romance and a very twisted, psychologically complex mystery gives it a memorable quality I haven’t found in other books in the genre.” ~ 4 Stars ~ Brad Shorr, Word Sell, Inc., Amazon.com Top 500 Reviewer
“Taut and fast-paced, Dream Or Destiny is an entertaining thriller. In it, author Lillie Ammann merges vivid characters with a twisting, tortuous storyline in fostering a page-turning mystery sure to keep readers rapt until the shocking conclusion.” ~ 5 stars ~ Reviewer Josee Morgan, Apex Reviews
“The plot is excellent. I didn’t figure out who the killer was till the end. What I liked most about the book was the author’s handling of Domestic Violence. … For me the most poignant character of the whole book was David. I think the author did an excellent job with developing his psychology throughout the book. I have extensive personal experience with Domestic Violence, and I can tell you none of David’s story is farfetched.” ~ Rated “L” for “Loved it” ~ The Bluestocking Guide (who also included Dream or Destiny on her list of the Best Christian Books she read this year)
“A mystery with all the elements: murder, eccentric characters (really Tess should have her own story), lots of red herrings and romance.” ~ Carolyn Scheidies, Author’s Choice Reviews
“Lillie Ammann has written more than a book about two people trying to solve a crime. She delves into the effects of grief and guilt, attraction and suspicion, compassion and evil.” ~ Helen Ginger, Freelance editor, book consultant, writer, and speaker
“There are a lot of murder mysteries on the market, but few if any are written as well as this. I recommend this to anyone who likes a good page turner and doesn’t mind spending all day reading because you won’t want to put this down.” ~ Ron Berry, Unwriter
“If you enjoy a good mystery that offers lots of colorful suspects, insightful commentary on some of the most pressing social issues of our day, and a realistic portrayal of the effects of true and false religion, you’ll want to read Dream or Destiny.” ~ Jeanne Dininni, Writer’s Notes
“It`s a riveting read, for sure, I actually read most of the book in just one sitting! If you enjoy mysteries, then I highly suggest you check Dream or Destiny out.” ~ Genesis Davies, At Home Mom Blog
“Lillie Ammann has written a fantastic book that really reaches out to you and pulls you in. I felt like the main characters were great friends of mine, and I really related well to them. The story line was wonderful, and kept me guessing throughout the entire book. … I also really enjoyed the fact that religion was involved in this story. I’ve noticed that many authors stray away from religion in order to keep readers interested in their work and to not offend anyone. I was pleased that this author included references to God and used it in a way that a reader wouldn’t be bothered by it, religious or not.” ~ Certified Reviewer at Nothing Binding
