Background: Sheila McCurdy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Arizona State University with an emphasis in Personnel and additional coursework in Social Psychology. After holding positions from clerical to corporate in the business world, McCurdy officially opened her organizing business, Clutter Stop, in 1993 with a mission to bring peace and comfort to those she works with. Because McCurdy, her children, and her grandchildren have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), she provides specialized solutions for those with ADD, Dyslexia, and Hoarding Compulsions.
McCurdy is an accomplished author, having written personnel textbook cases for a book currently used in universities. She has also written two books on organization and has been interviewed as an expert source for a number of publications, radio, and television shows. In addition, she is currently a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.
