Have you ever held onto a grudge or refused to forgive a slight? You may think you’re somehow maintaining “the upper hand” but you’re wrong. In How to Forgive When You Can’t, Dr. Jim Dincalci compares withholding forgiveness to taking poison and expecting the other person to die. It causes your physical, emotional, and spiritual health to suffer—from higher blood pressure to increased anxiety.

It presents proven forgiveness techniques that can heal resentment, grudges, regret, and self-blame. It’s a powerful tool for dealing with so-called “everyday offenses” and with trauma, tragedy, PTSD, and abuse.
