The 17th Earl of Oxford loved Queen Elizabeth all his life. His love poems to her and to their love child, Henry Wriothesley, reveal the reason why he used the pen name “William Shakespeare.”
Before I started reading Pat’s musings. I flipped through the book and noted that many of her pieces are dedicated to special people in her life. For me, this gave a deeper meaning knowing the words were directed to a specific person. However, this doesn’t diminish the reader from enjoying or comtemplating on the pieces themselves.
Pat writes from her soul and experiences. As a reader I was able to go within my soul and experience my own thoughts and contemplations. To me this is good poetry.
